In a galayx not so far away…

July 5, 2004

2004 has been a good year for space exploration so far. The first privately funded manned space mission, SpaceShipOne made it to an altitude of 100km earlier in June and is set to repeat its achievement within the X-Prize framework. A little more distant from us, the Cassini probe is shedding new light on Titan’s surface and atmosphere, which may contain many of the raw materials for life including nitrogen, carbon and water.
